Abstract


Physical Education is an integral part of the education as a whole.For this reason, the implementation must be directed to the  purposes of this education, to make the teacher have an adequate competence, which describes in the explanation of the Government  Rules Number 19 Article 10 in 2005, consist of: 1) Pedagogic; 2) Personal; 3)Social; and 4) Professional Competencies. These competences as a profesional standar among PJOK Teachers in Padang Pariaman’s Junior School are still unknown, thats why this research is conducted to find the answers.

Population are  whole of the research subject. In this research, the population  is  52  PJOK teachers in Junior High School in Padang Pariaman who had passed their Bachelor Degree and also having educational certificate.

Data collected through quistionnaire distribution to this population for analysis. The respondents answer assested by the Likert Scale,while  descriptive data analysis, regression descriptive statistical, validity and reliability test and hyphotesis asessted with the multiple liniear analysis.

Result of these research, through the descriptive statistical show that respondents in doing their teaching process divided into:   1) Respondent of pedagogic kompetence generally answer ‘Always’ (SL) 2) Respondent with personal competence answer Rare (JR) 3) Respondent with Social Competence say Rare (JR) and 4) Respondent with professional competence answer Always (SL).

In relation to these result, respondents are not fully professional while doing their teaching process, and sited at middle criteria, based on RPP and Sylabus. The seminar papers conducted in Padang Pariaman are still nof fully absorbed by the Junior School Teacher in this area. The profesional standar owned by coresspondents significantly influence to their performance with the score of R Square 65,22 %.
