Abstract

Abstract. This development research aims to produce appropriate and effective Augmented Reality media as an effort to solve learning problems in the physics subject matter of optical instruments. This is because the learning process is only dominated by lectures, while the main material in this optical instrument needs to be visualized with a concrete picture. The hope is that this media can be utilized effectively to achieve learning objectives optimally. The development model used in this study is the Research and Development (R & D) model, by implementing 10 steps of development and producing a media product in the form of Augmented Reality media, with the test subjects of class X at Multimedia Multimedia Surabaya. Methods of data collection using interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis technique uses questionnaire data analysis techniques with percentage formulas and test data analysis techniques with the t-test formula. based on the results of the analysis of the results of the feasibility test by material experts obtain a percentage of 100% and the results of the feasibility test by media experts obtain a percentage of 100% Data from individual trial results scored 97%, data from small group trials obtained a score of 98%, and data from trial results of large groups scored 100%, so that Augmented Reality media can be said to be worthy of use in learning. The results of the t-test obtained from the pre-test and post-test obtained a t-count greater than t table (2.81> 1.988), it can be said that the Augmented Reality media is effectively used in learning.
