The International Conference of Educational Technology (ICOET) has been firstly held by the study program of educational technology, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang in collaboration with Graduate School Universitas Negeri Padang in 25 – 27 July 2019. The theme of the previous event was “The Trend of Digital Transformation in Education to Face Society 5.0” and invited Prof. Dr. Ismunandar (Dirjen Belmawa Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Paulina Pannen, M.Ls (Kemenristek Dikti, Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Hamdan (Malaysia) dan Wilfredo Herrera Libunao, M.Sc.Ph.D (Philipines) as the speakers. At the end, this seminar produced some proceedings published with Thomson Indexed. This year, the 2nd International Conference of Educational Technology (ICOET) will be held on 8 September 2021 with the theme “The Role of Educational Technology to Support the Changes of Educational Curriculum for Sustainable Development”. The speakers for this seminar are Prof. Dr. Alwen Bentri, M.Pd (Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Ahmad Johari Bin Sihes (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia), Assoc. Prof . Dr. David Stein (Ohio state University Amerika Serikat), dan Dr. Benny Agus Pribadi, MA.(Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia).
